📍 Office Based | Monday – Friday | 5:30am – 1:30pm
A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics and transport operation within a growing manufacturing and distribution business.
This role sits within the Transport Planning team and would suit someone organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy operational environment. You’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day transport coordination, liaising with customers and hauliers, and ensuring delivery schedules run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Transport Planning team with daily administration
• Building and updating loads on the internal system
• Pulling reports and identifying delivery or transport issues
• Liaising with customers, hauliers and warehouse teams
• Handling inbound and outbound calls regarding deliveries and schedules
• Investigating orders that have not been delivered or processed correctly
• Maintaining accurate transport and planning records
• Supporting the smooth running of daily logistics operations
Ideal Background:
• Previous administration or customer service experience
• Experience within logistics, transport or warehouse environments beneficial
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident using internal systems and Microsoft Office
• Able to work well in a fast-paced operational environment
• Reliable with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
